Retail banking inbound runs high concurrency with 99.99%+ uptime expectations — we route through US-East and US-Central POPs with active/active failover because a 4-hour outage on a customer-service line is an FDIC-reportable event for larger banks. Fraud outbound has the opposite profile: low steady volume, high individual-call value, strict caller-ID integrity (a fraud alert from a spoofed number defeats the purpose). Broker-dealer and wealth-management voice is mostly recording-and-retention driven — FINRA rule 3110 requires 3-year retention and most broker-dealers extend that to 6. Our standard MSA covers SEC/FINRA-aligned retention and provides the CDR-plus-audio archive with court-admissible timestamps that compliance teams actually use. A-level STIR/SHAKEN is the only acceptable attestation for this vertical.
